Framing and hanging up work on the wall

Recently, I moved into a new flat.  It has meant that I’ve got a pile of picture frames waiting to be put somewhere on the wall.  This weekend, I started resolving this.  Here’s a few points I have learned from this experience.

First coco dress!

with my 100 days of stash-busting underway, I decided that I needed to finally use some dressmaking fabrics in my stash.  The coco dress is a pattern I was given as a gift over a year ago and have somehow not managed to find the time to make!

Slowly getting more of this gift completed day by day... I decided to focus on making the pole for the rings to stack on before making another ring. I'm not sure it's that sturdy though so I may add interfacing to the circular base but will leave this until the end.

I can’t believe it’s nearly the end of June!  I cut out the fabric for June’s make at the very beginning but found myself actually constructing it towards the end of the month, assuming I still had loads of time.  This month, it was back to knits.
